Our involvement in High Performing Athletes

Rehab Co have teamed up to support athletes across Auckland & Wellington in their recovery and general physical wellness. They all train huge hours, test their body and show their skill on the court. As full time athletes, the health of their body of high importance and we are focused on supporting this.

Rehab Co support them in their mission for success, ensuring they are strong, mobile and feeling their best on the court or out on the trails.

Shaunna - NZ Badminton Champion

I have been playing Badminton for 13 years and am currently representing Badminton North Harbour and New Zealand.
I have won several National and Oceania titles from the Junior to Senior level, including 6x reigning National Champion for Women's Singles. Although I play all three events (Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles), I mainly focus on Singles and Mixed Doubles for International tournaments.
My New Zealand rankings are 1stĀ for Singles and 1stĀ for Mixed Doubles. My World rankings are 199th for Singles and 107thĀ for Mixed Doubles.
Along with my Badminton career and achievements, I currently study full-time at University of Auckland (Bachelor of Science and Commerce) and also work part-time.Ā

I have been playing Badminton for 16 years and am currently representing Badminton North Harbour and New Zealand.
Throughout my career, I have won numerous National and Oceania titles from the Junior to Senior level. Since my transition to the Senior level, I have focused only on Singles and Mixed Doubles.
My current New Zealand rankings are 1stĀ for Men's Singles and 1stĀ for Mixed Doubles. My current World rankings are 121st for Men's Singles and 107th for Mixed Doubles.Ā 
Aside from Badminton, I have a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management and currently work full-time as a Retail Manager.

Daniel Jones – Ultra Trail Runner

Daniel is a professional trail and ultramarathon runner originally from Whakatāne, now based in Wellington for the past 10 years. He’s a member of Wellington Scottish Harriers and competes internationally as part of the adidas TERREX team.
Daniel is a six-time winner of the Kepler Challenge and has won the Tarawera Ultramarathon three times, with strong finishes at events like the Western States 100.
With training often exceeding 150 km a week and racing up to 100 miles at a time, staying injury-free is critical. Daniel works with the team at Rehab to manage the physical demands of high-volume training, stay mobile and strong, and keep his body performing year-round.
