BHSc Physiotherapy

Manny graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2021. During the initial stages of his career, Manny has gained experience working with patients from various backgrounds. From school children who are trying to get back to playing sport to elderly patients who are trying to improve their mobility and independence. In 2023 Manny worked as a physiotherapist and sports medic for Poneke Football Club premier men's rugby team. In 2024, Manny will be working with the Wellington Rugby Academy. Although Manny enjoys working with the athletic population, he has a strong passion for helping the general population get back to doing what they love, whatever that might be.

Manny uses a combination of exercise prescription, lifestyle modifications, manual therapy (including dry needling, spinal mobilisations, soft tissue massage and cupping) and education to enhance long term outcomes and understanding. Manny’s approach is to work with his patients to develop individualized, holistic treatment plans to enable his patients to achieve their health goals.

Outside of the clinic hours you’ll find Manny lifting weights, running, enjoying flavours and foods from around the world or watching sport

My intention with becoming a physiotherapist was to help people overcome any injuries and optimise their performance and training to prevent injuries and maintain an active lifestyle.
