What is Podiatry?

Our musculoskeletal (MSK) podiatrist specialises in diagnosing and treating problems related to the bones, joints, muscles, and soft tissues of the lower limb. Particularly the feet, ankles, knees, and sometimes hips.

The focus is on how movement, posture, and foot function affect the entire kinetic chain.

MSK podiatrists often work closely with physiotherapists, sports doctors, and orthopaedic specialists to provide holistic care for both acute injuries and long-term conditions, helping patients return to full function and prevent recurrence.

Sports Podiatry

Sports podiatrists specialise in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of injuries affecting the feet and lower limbs,
particularly those caused by athletic activity.

A sports podiatrist will design a customized
rehabilitation program to help you safely return to your sport, taking into account your specific injury, fitness level, and goals.
