Maria is an ACC registered and New Zealand qualified physiotherapist. Her background in competitive sports and her own experience with injuries ignited a passion for the human body.

Maria graduated from the University of Auckland with BSc Exercise Science and MPhysioPrac (Masters in Physio Practice), where she graduated with first class honours. She is passionate about treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries across all age groups using evidence-based techniques with a goal of treating the source of the injury/pain. Maria is also multilingual and can speak Serbo-Croatian.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys keeping active by hiking, running, cycling, weightlifting, and swimming and spending time with her family and friends.
