Dan
BSc Physiotherapy (Honours)
Daniel believes good rehabilitation should be collaborative. He works with each person to develop a plan that fits their goals, lifestyle and starting point, whether that means returning to sport, getting back into the gym, keeping up with the kids, enjoying a weekend hike, or simply moving through everyday life with greater confidence.
With over seven years of experience, Daniel is passionate about helping people of all ages and ability levels move better, feel stronger and get back to doing the things they enjoy. Whether you’re dealing with a new injury, persistent pain, recovering from surgery, or simply want to feel more confident and capable in your body, he takes the time to understand what matters to you and build a clear plan to get you there.
His approach draws on his experience in physiotherapy, Pilates, and strength and conditioning, with an emphasis on guided exercise, strength and movement-based rehabilitation. When appropriate, he also incorporates dry needling and hands-on treatment, focusing on the factors contributing to a problem rather than simply treating the symptoms.
Daniel enjoys bringing these different areas together to help people not only recover from injury, but build the strength, capacity and confidence to get back to the things that matter to them.
Daniel graduated from University College Dublin with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy in 2019. He began his career in the Irish public health system, gaining experience across musculoskeletal, neurological and developmental physiotherapy before stepping into an Acting Senior Physiotherapist role in developmental pediatrics.
After moving to New Zealand in 2022 and spending his first four months exploring the country in a van, Daniel moved into private practice and has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist since 2023.
